PCs for People Launches “CONNECT” to Deliver Fast, Affordable Internet to Underserved Communities Nationwide

PCs for People, a national nonprofit and leader in digital inclusion, proudly announces the launch of PCs for People CONNECT, a fixed wireless internet service providing fast, low-cost internet to households and apartment communities nationwide. CONNECT is launching in high-need areas such as Cuyahoga County (OH), where PCs for People aims to enroll 11,000 subscribers by September 30, 2025. The service addresses the urgent need for reliable internet to support education, employment, healthcare, and staying connected with loved ones. CONNECT will provide:

• Fixed Wireless Internet: Delivered via PCs for People-installed towers and mobile broadband
• Speeds: Up to 280 Mbps download / 80 Mbps upload (5G), and up to 50 Mbps / 10 Mbps (4G LTE)
• Wired Internet: Symmetrical 100 Mbps service per unit via multi-dwelling unit program
