WISPA raises interference concerns about SpaceX's mega constellation

SpaceX's plan to build space-based data centers comprising up to 1 million low-Earth orbit satellites leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Among them: the potential for interference with adjacent channels and how such interference might be addressed if it happens. Those were among the issues raised by WISPA – The Association for Broadband Without Boundaries in comments filed March 6 with the Federal Communications Commission. The comments arrived a few weeks after SpaceX filed an application to the FCC for an orbital system described as a constellation of up to 1 million satellites that would connect with optical links/lasers and orbital shells ranging from 500 kilometers to 2,000 kilometers above the surface of the Earth. Using sun-synchronous orbits, the constellation would have nearly 24/7 access to the sun's rays.
