UTOPIA Fiber’s 2025 Year In Review

UTOPIA Fiber released its 2025 year-in-review results, reporting more than 1 million feet of new conduit and fiber laid in Utah, continued subscriber growth, and the completion of Bountiful Fiber one year ahead of schedule. As the nation’s largest and most successful Open Access fiber network, UTOPIA Fiber now serves more than 67,000 subscribers across 20 Utah member cities and through its operational partnership with Bountiful City, reflecting increasing demand for community-owned fiber infrastructure and competitive internet service options. Highlights from 2025 include:  

• 1,034,194 feet of conduit and fiber installed
• 13,728 feet of aerial strand placed
• 9,000+ new homes able to connect
• 968 new businesses able to connect
• 6,355 new 1 Gig customers
• 1,336 new 2.5 Gig customers
