Tennessee BEAD Draft Final Proposal Available for Public Comment

The Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development released the state's draft Final Proposal for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. The state will accept public comments through 11:59 pm CT on September 3, 2025. Public comments can be submitted via this form. The final proposal includes $203,311,189 in funding to cover 44,345 elligible locations. If approved, 75 percent of locations will be covered by fiber, 13 percent will be covered by low-earth orbit satellite, and 12 percent will be covered by cable.
