TDS marks second phase of rural upgrades in Dane County (WI) with groundbreaking in Town of Perry

TDS Telecommunications marked the start of the second phase of its Enhanced Alternative Connect America Cost Model broadband expansion in Dane County (WI) with a ceremonial groundbreaking June 2 in the Town of Perry. TDS representatives were joined by Sen Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) and Rep. Jenna Jacobson (D-Oregon) as well as Jaron McCallum, Dane County Broadband Coordinator. E-ACAM is a federal broadband program that supports deployment of broadband internet services in rural areas. TDS is participating in the program and providing private investment to help bridge the digital divide and expand access to high-speed broadband in some of the most rural parts of its service territory.
