OHIO BEAD Final Proposal Draft for Public Comment

The Ohio Department of Development has released BroadbandOhio's Draft Final Proposal for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program for review and public comment. BroadbandOhio (BBOH), a division within the Ohio Department of Development, has revised and conducted its BEAD application process and evaluated all pre-application and project application submissions. BBOH has submitted to NTIA its list of 22 provisional sub-awardees that will provide universal broadband connectivity across the State of Ohio, connecting 72,375 locations using $227 million of Ohio’s $793 million total BEAD funding allocation. The public comment period is Aug. 28, 2025, through Sept. 3, 2025. The Final Proposal will then go to the NTIA for review and approval.
