Business Fiber Report: More Than 2 Million Locations Connected

The percentage of US commercial buildings with fiber connections to businesses rose to 46.2% in 2015, according to the latest business fiber report from Vertical Systems Group. In translation, that equates to more than 2 million individual business establishments, the market research company highlights in a press release. New fiber installations in greenfield metro areas and mid-sized multi-tenant buildings on the part of network operators fueled growth, as did property developers, which are now incorporating fiber connections in construction of new multi-tenant and company-owned buildings as a matter of course.
