When Tarana released the new G2 generation of radios, one of the claims the company made was that the radios are powerful enough for internet service providers to bring point-to-multipoint broadband to metropolitan areas. The new specifications support the premise. If a wireless ISP were to install a Tarana radio on an existing tall urban tower, it should easily be able to see a lot more than 2,000 homes and businesses. It’s an interesting option that brings a real wireless option for many urban homes.

Comcast Corporation's Mike Cavanagh to Join Brian Roberts as Co-Chief Executive Officer

Comcast announced that Michael J. Cavanagh has been named Co-Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective January 2026. He will serve with Brian L. Roberts, who will continue as Chairman and Co-CEO. Cavanagh will also be named to the Comcast Board of Directors at that time. Cavanagh joined Comcast in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and currently serves as President. He previously spent more than two decades in financial services, including as Co-CEO of JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate & Investment Bank, one of the largest global financial institutions.

YouTube to Pay $24.5 Million to Settle Lawsuit Brought by President Trump

YouTube has agreed to pay $24.5 million to settle a 2021 lawsuit that President Trump brought against the company and its chief executive over its suspension of Trump’s account after that year’s riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to court papers.
