Pilot to Improve Broadband for Low-Income Households Through California LifeLine
The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) created a pilot program that will increase the amount of data provided to low-income households through the California LifeLine program. The three-year technology-neutral Home Broadband Pilot will allow eligible consumers to apply the California LifeLine subsidy to any internet plan meeting minimum service standards.
