Spectrum Expands Fiber Broadband Network in Cheboygan County, Michigan
Spectrum announced the expansion of its fiber broadband network to bring Spectrum Internet, Mobile, TV, and Voice services to nearly 700 additional homes and businesses in previously unserved or underserved areas of Cheboygan County (MI), including in the townships of Aloha, Burt, Koehler, Mullett, Munro, and Tuscarora. The expansion was funded in part by a Realizing Opportunity with Broadband Infrastructure Networks Broadband Grant, a joint effort between Spectrum and the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office to deliver high-speed internet to unserved communities. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number CPFFN0190 awarded to the State of Michigan by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
