Plains Internet notifies FCC of RDOF Defaults in Kansas

Plains Internet notified the Federal Communications Commission that it will default on its Rural Digital Opportunity Fund obligations in Kansas (SAC 419049). Plains was authorized to receive a total of $9,834.00 in RDOF support to deploy voice and gigabit broadband service to three locations in Kansas. Plains has not deployed service to any of those three locations and will therefore be in default of those obligations. Plains understands that, as a result of this default, it will no longer be entitled to receive RDOF support for those locations and may be subject to the FCC's applicable non-compliance rules. Plains will comply with all applicable FCC requirements associated with its default, including any required notifications and filings with the Universal Service Administrative Company
