Lightcurve, an internet provider in the State of Washington, announced that applications are now open for its Digital Equity Partnership program. Developed in partnership with the City of Tacoma, the initiative provides free internet service to qualifying organizations serving low-income and underserved populations throughout Tacoma and nearby areas. Through the program, Lightcurve is seeking public, private, and nonprofit organizations that provide critical services or access to underserved members of the community. Selected recipients will receive 12 months of complimentary internet service—up to 1 Gig—helping bridge the digital divide and expand access to reliable broadband connectivity. The annual application and review process is open from April 1 through May 31, 2026, with submissions evaluated based on several factors, including alignment with community equity index goals and overall benefit to the community.
