Illinois Benefit of the Bargain Round

On June 6, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration released a Policy Notice & Fact Sheet restructuring the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. The notice makes changes to the program rules, eligibility, timeline, and scoring rubric. Given these changes, BEAD Wave 1 preliminary awards have been rescinded, and Illinois’ BEAD Wave 2 Notice of Funding Opportunity has been cancelled and replaced by the BEAD Benefit of the Bargain Round. The new Benefit of the Bargain application window is open through July 18 at 11:59 pm CT.
