Coalition Supports Proposed Executive Order for Mandatory Pre-Deployment Testing for Frontier AI Systems

The conservative organization Humans First wrote a letter to President Donald Trump urging the President to vet artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to ensure they are safe. "As committed America First leaders...thank you for considering an Executive Order to vet potentially dangerous frontier AI models before they are released," said the letter. "We urge you to continue with this, and apply that principle to artificial intelligence, taking decisive action to ensure that the most powerful AI systems in the world are properly vetted before they can threaten our national security, our children, American workers, and the American way of life. Thanks to your leadership, Americans know that 'America First' means putting the security, liberty, and greatness of the American people ahead of elite corporate and globalist interests."
