The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is holding a series of public hearings in 2018 and 2019 examining whether broad-based changes in the economy, evolving business practices, new technologies, or international developments might require adjustments to competition and consumer protection law, enforcement priorities, and policy. The hearings include topics such as privacy, data security, big data, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, intellectual property, and antitrust law. Our speakers will offer an overview of the hearings that have already taken place, the upcoming hearings, and information you may need to know about the FTC’s process and their request for comments.

Speakers: Maneesha Mithal, Associate Director of the FTC’s Division of Privacy and Identity Protection; Derek Moore, Attorney Advisor, FTC’s Office of Policy Planning

Moderator: Michelle Rosenthal, Director of Privacy & Data Security, Federal Regulatory Affairs, T-Mobile
