ImOn Communications

ImOn Communications announced that its acquisition of Danville Telecom has acquired all regulatory approvals and the transaction has closed.  Founded in 1901 as Danville Mutual Telephone Company, Danville Telecom delivers 100% fiber-optic telecommunications services to residential and business customers in Danville. Through its subsidiary iConnectYou, the company also provides broadband services in Burlington, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Montrose, Wever, and West Burlington (IA). The acquisition of Danville Telecom will enable ImOn to build upon Danville’s existing fiber assets.

Danville Telecom announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to become a wholly owned subsidiary of ImOn Communications, a rapidly growing broadband provider based in Cedar Rapids (IA). The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals. The acquisition of Danville Telecom will enable ImOn to build upon Danville’s existing fiber assets and more rapidly expand next-generation services to both homes and businesses in Burlington, Fort Madison, and Keokuk. The transaction is expected to close in 2025.
