Twitter hiring DC Liaison

Twitter is looking for a government liaison to serve as a point person for the company in Washington (DC). The staff member will be the first DC-based employee for Twitter. It looks like the staffer will help government employees and politicians use Twitter in their everyday activities and also serve as a public policy liaison for the company. The employee will also serve as an advocate for government and political users within Twitter and courage more political engagement among citizens on the microblogging network.
