States roll out ONC-approved IT plans

Maryland, New Mexico and Utah have received the green light from Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to move forward with a plan to implement a functioning health information technology exchange. The three states are working to streamline the transfer of electronic health data among hospitals, physicians and patients through these exchanges.
