Plotting Against the Internet

[Commentary] The Obama administration caved in to critics by admitting that it needs more time to give up US protection of the Internet. But instead of delaying its plan, the administration should have killed it. Dropping the plan has become urgent with new evidence of how other governments plan to take control of the Internet if the US gives them the chance. The clear evidence is that many governments around the world are eager to wrest control over the Internet for themselves. Canceling the Obama plan would deprive them of the chance.
