The media’s day of reckoning on Donald Trump has arrived

[Commentary] For a political press that has treated the GOP front-runner Donald Trump with abundant skepticism from the moment he entered the race, the day of reckoning has arrived. The nominee won't be crowned Feb 1 — in fact, based on Iowa's track record, there's a good chance it will turn out to be someone other than the caucus winner — but anybody who can win a political contest as big as this one is no joke. The result in Iowa will dictate whether the media portrays Trump going forward as all talk and no (ground) game or as a serious White House contender.
