Ken Howard gets another term as president of SAG-AFTRA

Veteran actor Ken Howard has won another term as president of SAG-AFTRA, Hollywood's largest entertainment union. Howard easily defeated his challenger, former "NYPD Blue" actor Esai Morales, to determine who will lead the performers union over the next two years.
The veteran actor and star of the 1970s television show "The White Shadow" received 16,396 votes, with Morales receiving 9,850 votes. Formed a year ago by the merger of two rival unions, SAG-AFTRA represents more than 165,000 actors, recording artists, broadcasters and other performers. Howard represents the faction that supported the merger, obtaining the majority of the 70 seats in the national board in 2010.
