House Appropriations Committee Releases Three-Bill Funding Package

The House Appropriations Committee released the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026. Negotiated and delivered on a bipartisan, bicameral basis, the conferenced legislation makes targeted Fiscal Year 2026 investments to bolster U.S. energy dominance and nuclear deterrence, strengthen law enforcement and efforts to combat illicit drugs, expand access to critical minerals, and support wildland firefighters and responsible land management. The three-bill package reflects a commitment to fiscal responsibility, public safety, and national security while delivering full-year funding that takes partisan shutdown leverage off the table. The Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for 2026 provides a total discretionary allocation of $78.011 billion to the U.S. government, including $51 million for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
