August 18, 2009
Rachel Goslins, a media arts and arts management lawyer and independent filmmaker who is also married to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski, was named executive director of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities (PCAH). Goslins directed the film "Bama Girl," which closed last season's Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers in Mobile. PCAH serves as a bridge between the public and the private sector in supporting arts and humanities by stimulating private investment in these and other efforts.
