Fighting to keep the Internet open and free

[Commentary] We offer the following agenda for the US government both at the International Telecommunications Union in Busan (South Korea) and going forward:

1. Defend the current multi-stakeholder approach to Internet governance
2. Finish the ambitious Pacific and Atlantic trade agreements
3. Maintain a “light touch” when it comes to regulation
4. Encourage governments to keep taxes on Internet devices and services low
5. Ramp-up White House policy leadership
