CBS announced a trade with the Beasley Broadcast Group that will involve CBS swapping 14 of its stations for five of Beasley’s. CBS will give up six stations in Tampa, seven in Charlotte, and one in Philadelphia (WIP-AM).

In exchange, it will gain its first stations in Miami, including the country outlet WKIS-FM, the top 40 station WPOW-FM, and the sports station WQAM-AM. CBS will also get two FM stations in Philadelphia: WXTU, which has a country format, and WRDW, which is top 40. The deal is a trade, with no cash changing hands between the companies. As a result, Beasley will grow to 53 stations. The trade is subject to approval by federal regulators.
