AT&T Adds More GigaPower
May 11, 2016
AT&T said it has lit up its fiber-based GigaPower platform in parts of Oklahoma City (OK), while expanding 1-Gig deployments in Atlanta (GA), Kansas City (MO) and Los Angeles (CA).
The Oklahoma City deployment includes greater Canadian and Cleveland counties. In that market, AT&T’s standalone 1-Gig offering starts at $110 per month (AT&T's “Premier” plans require that customers participate in a targeted advertising program called AT&T Internet Preferences). The Atlanta extensions are bringing GigaPower to parts of Douglasville, Grayson, McDonough, Peachtree Corners and surrounding communities, with standalone 1-Gig starting at $70 per month.
