FCC Tribal Workshop (Minnesota)

A Federal Communications Commission (FCC) workshop for Tribal Nations and Native Hawaiian organizations (NHOs), hosted by the Coalition of Large Tribes during its Quarterly Meeting in Prior Lake, MN.

The workshop is designed to provide information on a broad range of FCC initiatives that support the deployment of communications infrastructure and services nationwide, including on Tribal lands. Topics will include an overview of proposed changes to the Commission’s National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) rules, recent changes to FCC pole attachment rules, updates on technology transitions as well as others. This workshop will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the FCC’s rulemaking process and ways that Tribal Nations and NHOs can share their views and interests to help inform FCC proceedings.
