Expanding Disability Access with Wireless Technologies

As part of its continuing effort to develop and implement consumer-focused policies, including disabilities access, the Federal Communications Commission will hold a workshop on "." The workshop will focus on:

  • Mobile communications access issues facing people with disabilities and the disparities in technology access.
  • Ways in which new technologies can offer opportunities to meet the communications access needs of people with disabilities.
  • Technology demonstrations of advanced mobile communications.

The names of the panelists will be released at a later date.
