The Everything Guide to Wireless and Small Cell Regulation

National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors

Monday, June 22, 2020 - 7:00pm

While we're busy battling in DC and the courts over wireless facilities in the rights-of-way, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of applications for these facilities. This eNATOA will discuss all things small cell at the local level: effective approaches by locals to manage these facilities, including key considerations in developing a small cell ordinance, tips for preparing wireless facility design guidelines, talking points for city officials and staff, and more. We will also discuss the impacts of the FCC's June 9, 2020 declaratory ruling that expands the types of modifications to wireless towers and other structures, including poles in the rights-of-way, that local governments must approve under Section 6409(a) of the Spectrum Act.
