This year's conference will focus on developing policies and processes to maximize the efficient use of spectrum resources, with particular attention on radar bands and technologies.

ISART is an annual conference that brings together leaders from government, academia, and industry from around the world for the purpose of forecasting the development and application of advanced radio technologies. Leading experts discuss and debate emerging state-of-the-art technology developments, forward-looking rules and processes for spectrum management, and policy implications of spectrum sharing.

This year's keynote speakers will include Lawrence E. Strickling, Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information and Administrator of NTIA and Philip J. Weiser, Dean of the University of Colorado Law School.

The conference is presented by the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS), the research and engineering laboratory of NTIA.
