David Dodson

For nearly forty years David has worked to advance economic opportunity and social mobility for people and communities struggling to realize the American Dream. He is the former president and a current Senior Fellow at MDC, a North Carolina-based  nonprofit “think tank with muddy boots,” focused on helping the South become a place where all people can thrive. David sees broadband as an essential component of the  “infrastructure of opportunity” that all Americans deserve.

David is a graduate of Yale College and holds masters degrees from Yale Divinity School and the Yale School of Management. He is a board member of the Center for Law and Social Policy in Washington, DC.
