The first of four new digital learning labs helping Saint Louisans to learn computer skills opened on March 31. Now, the Tandy Recreation Center is equipped to provide residents with computer access, internet connectivity, digital literacy training, and one-on-one help from digital navigators.
Anybody who lives in an urban or suburban area know that cell coverage is not the same everywhere. There are neighborhoods with great cell coverage, neighborhoods with so-so coverage, and neighborhood with little or no coverage. Nobody understands this better than first responders and city employees who work in all parts of a city. The good news is there is a way for cities to tackle the cellular coverage issue. My consulting firm recently helped a city in a major urban area that knew it had poor cell coverage.

Elon Musk’s social media company X has asked the Supreme Court to shield its users from US law enforcement, intervening in a case that could force the federal government to produce a warrant to access private data. In a brief filed to the high court, X said it was concerned about “broad, suspicionless” requests, adding that platforms should “not be coerced into helping governments undermine their users’ privacy.” The supporting brief comes in a long-running case brought by James Harper, a user of crypto exchange Coinbase.
