Donald Trump’s campaign didn’t take too kindly to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s veiled criticism of the GOP front-runner recently. At the social network’s annual developer conference, Zuckerberg expressed dismay at the “fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as others” — a line many interpreted as a shot at Trump, given his support for a wall along the Mexican border and his harsh anti-immigrant rhetoric.

On April 13, Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson blasted the Facebook CEO for his “self-righteousness.” "I think I'll take Mark Zuckerberg seriously when he gives up all of his private security, moves out of his posh neighborhood, and comes live in a modest neighborhood near a border town, and then I'm sure his attitude would change," she said. "The CEOs in Silicon Valley should focus on innovation and jobs and their businesses and let the politicians make their policies," Pierson added. "It's great that we can have innovation in this country, but you should be able to do that without putting the lives of Americans at risk."
