Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) is a once-in-a-generation funding opportunity to promote high-speed internet access for underserved and unserved communities. The grant aims to bridge the digital divide by providing resources to state, local, and tribal governments, non-profit organizations, and for-profit companies to support the deployment and expansion of broadband infrastructure. Successful grant applications will prioritize projects that address equity issues, such as improving broadband access for low-income households, rural areas, and communities of color. The best chance of successfully securing BEAD funding depends on a complete, compelling, and competitive project proposal that spells out how broadband will benefit your organization and community. Hear critical items to consider, tips for a compelling project story, and how partnerships can give you a competitive advantage in achieving your goal of a new or expanded Broadband business.
