Virtual Event

The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) are seeking comment on the initial findings and recommendations contained in the interim report of the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) Task Force (“Task Force”) and particularly on potential approaches to implement those recommendations. The Task Force has been directed by Congress to develop an implementation roadmap for a shared research infrastructure that would provide artificial intelligence (AI) researchers and students with access to computational resources, high-quality data, training tools, and user support. Listening session input will inform the development of the Task Force’s final report, which is expected to be released in December 2022.

This virtual listening session is open to the public, and registration is required to attend. If you wish to speak at the virtual listening session, please indicate this below. Due to time constraints, comments should be limited to two minutes, and OSTP/NSF may not be able to hear from all interested parties. A Zoom link and instructions for participating will be sent to the email address provided for registration a few days prior to the listening session.

The meeting will be recorded. Participation in this session implies consent for OSTP/NSF to capture your name, voice, and likeness, and anything you say may be recorded and transcribed for future use. A summary of comments submitted at this listening session may be posted online at https://www.ai.gov/nairrtf.
