Plugged-In Parents of Tweens and Teens

Common Sense Media
Tuesday, December 6, 2016
8:30 a.m. -- 11 a.m.

Please join us as we release the next installment of the annual Common Sense Census. Conducted in collaboration with the Center on Media and Human Development at Northwestern University, the study presents a comprehensive view of how adults are raising their children in an environment increasingly dominated by vast technology and media choices, both for them and their kids. While studies, including those by Common Sense, have looked at media and tech use by young kids, tweens, and teens, there has been little understanding of how adults navigate the complex media and tech landscape with their children, what concerns parents have around technology, and what makes them optimistic. Join us for breakfast, a presentation of the new research, and a participatory panel discussion.
