Disability Advisory Committee Meeting

At this meeting, Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) members are expected to (i) receive an update from the IP Captioning Files Transmittal Working Group; and (ii) discuss other topics relevant to the DAC’s work. The meeting will be led by the DAC co-chairs: Brian Scarpelli, Senior Policy Counsel of ACT | The App Association, and Isidore Niyongabo, President and Director of Advocacy and Public Engagement of National Black Deaf Advocates.

The DAC may also receive briefings from Commission staff on issues of interest to the Committee and may discuss topics of interest to the Committee, including, but not limited to, matters concerning accessible communications, telecommunications relay services, emergency access, and video programming accessibility.

The DAC meeting is open to the public. During the meeting, members of the public may submit questions and comments to the DAC via email: livequestions@fcc.gov. These comments or questions may be addressed during the public comment period.
