The National Cable & Telecommunications Association has no objection to the Federal Communications Commission releasing requested broadband data to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

In a filing at the Federal Communications Commission in reply to questions about broadband's role in public safety, homeland security, and cybersecurity, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, the lobbying arm of the cable industry, says cable operators have implemented cybersecurity measures.
