Internet tools growing in schools

INTERNET TOOLS GROWING IN SCHOOLS

School districts across the nation are expanding their use of technology, experts say, many hoping eventually to provide a laptop computer for every student. A U.S. Department of Education study last year found that certain types of educational software produced no significant difference in student achievement - but did lead to more students working on task and more teachers interacting with students rather than lecturing.
