House Commerce Committee Republican Leadership Shuffled

HOUSE COMMERCE COMMITTEE REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP SHUFFLED

Former House Commerce Committee Chairman Joe Barton is shuffling the leadership team on the panel. Rep Cliff Stears (R-FL) will serve as the ranking member on the Telecommunications and Internet Subcommittee, Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-KY) will be the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection; and Rep John Shimkus will be the ranking member of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. The Energy subcommittee, which was led on the GOP-side by former House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL), will now have Rep Fred Upton as its ranking member. All uniform numbers remain the same, if you are scoring at home.
