News Corp. Close to TV Stations Sale to Oak Hill

Oak Hill Capital Partners, the private equity firm that purchased the New York Times TV stations to create Local TV LLC, apparently will buy nine Fox TV stations put on the market in June. If the deal goes through, Local TV would own 18 TV stations; Fox’s 26-TV station portfolio will be more focused on the nation’s largest markets with properties in 9 of the top 10 markets and 9 duopolies, five in the top 10.
