Kids who usually watch Nickelodeon have a play date set for September 29. As part of its fourth annual “Worldwide Day Of Play” festivities Nickelodeon and its affiliated digital networks will go dark for three hours that day. During its downtime, the networks will direct kids via an animated loop to go outside and be active in celebration of Worldwide Day of Play. As part of the celebration, the network will conclude its monthly series dubbed Let’s Just Play Go Healthy Challenge, which followed the weight loss efforts of two teenagers. As part of the effort, more than 750,000 kids have pledged via nick.com/letsjustplay to help lead healthier lives.
