CONSUMERS LESS SATISFIED WITH TV SERVICE

Despite the rollout of new High-Definition TV services, viewers are less satisfied with the service of their cable and satellite TV providers. That's according to the new American Customer Satisfaction Index, an annual reading of consumer moods in dozens of categories. The report is published by the University of Michigan’s National Quality Research Center. The new study found that customer satisfaction with the cable and satellite industries combined fell two percent to 62 percent, the lowest level of customer satisfaction in the entire index. Not one TV provider improved on its rating from last year.
