FCC CONTINUES EEO AUDITS

On February 8, 2007, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) mailed the first of its Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) audit letters for 2007 to randomly selected radio and television stations. The FCC is auditing the EEO programs of randomly selected broadcast licensees and multi-channel video programming distributors (MVPDs). Each year, approximately five percent of all stations and MVPDs are selected for random EEO audits. A list of the radio and television stations to which audit letters were sent is available at the URL below.
