Devices Capable of Supporting Multiple Audio Entertainment Services

On August 25, 2008, the Federal Communications Commission released a Notice of Inquiry on issues pertaining to i) requiring devices capable of receiving Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service ("SDARS") to include digital audio broadcast ("DAB"), or HD Radio, or any other technologies capable of providing audio entertainment services; and ii) requiring devices capable of receiving HD Radio to include SDARS or any other technologies capable of providing audio entertainment services. Comments must be filed on or before November 10, 2008 and reply comments must be filed on or before December 9, 2008.
