FCC OKAYS SALE OF KTBY ANCHORAGE FOR $3.2M

The Federal Communications Commission approved the sale of KTBY, the Fox affiliate in Anchorage (Alaska,) to Coastal Television Broadcasting Co. for $3.2 million and the assumption of liabilities. KTBY is the last of Piedmont stations to find a buyer. Coastal is wholly owned by William A. Fielder, the Piedmont CFO.
