UNIVERSAL SERVICE REFORM, UNIVERSAL BROADBAND COMMENTS DUE APRIL 3

The Federal Communications Commission has published a Notice in the Federal Register seeking comment on its high-cost Universal Service Fund rules. In particular, the Commission seeks comment on using USF monies to advance the deployment of broadband Internet services into unserved areas. Comments are due on April 3, 2008. Reply comments are due on May 5, 2008. (WC Docket Nos. 05-337, 96-45, FCC 08-4)
