Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski announced that the following items will be on the tentative agenda for the next open meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 13, 2012:

1. Equipment Authorization Rules Regarding Grantee Codes for Certified Radiofrequency Equipment Report and Order: The Commission will consider a Report and Order to modify the equipment authorization rules to increase the supply of codes assigned to parties applying for equipment certification.
2. 4..9 GHz Band Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: The Commission will consider a Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to encourage improved spectrum efficiency and greater use of the 4940–4990 MHz (4.9 GHz) band.
