Announcement of Next Meeting Date and Agenda of

By this Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”) announces the date and agenda of the next meeting of its (“Committee”).

Purpose & Functions

The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the Commission regarding consumer issues within the jurisdiction of the Commission and to facilitate the participation of all consumers in proceedings before the Commission.

Meeting Date

The next meeting of the FCC's will take place on Friday November 3, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., at Verizon Communications, Inc., 1320 North Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA in rooms Forum I and II.

The Committee is organized under, and operates in accordance with, the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C., App. 2 (1988).
