Exploring opportunities to amplify foundations' impact through media and technology-related grantmaking and policy. Featuring Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards (D-MD), this free event will take place at the Nonprofit Technology Conference in Washington, D.C. - Rep. Edwards represents Maryland's 4th Congressional district, serving in the U.S. House of Representatives since a special election in 2008. From 2000 to 2008, she was the Executive Director of The Arca Foundation, providing bold leadership in support of a robust and independent media landscape, including public-interest oriented media and technology policies.

Following a question-and-answer period with the Congresswoman, the event co-sponsors will facilitate a discussion that surfaces examples of dynamic technology and media-related investments, and identifies resources and strategies for successful grantmaking in this realm.

This event immediately follows an NTEN conference plenary session, in which Moira Gunn, host of National Public Radio’s “Tech Nation,” will interview Rep. Edwards.

Limited seating is available and is restricted to foundation representatives. The cost is free for foundation representatives.

Please RSVP and send questions to Jeff Perlstein at ZeroDivide: jeff@zerodivide.org.
